Allow me 2 Introduce Myself...My name is Eastcoast!

Bound to uphold and supersede the legacy started by his father, Kingston, Jamaican born artist Kemar Bailey, best known as Eastcoast is on a mission to reign supreme in the world of reggae music.
Kemar had an early exposure to music watching and learning from his father, Producer & Label CEO EASTCOAST. Kemar was able to live in his fathers shadows while producing several Hit songs prior to his retirement. Kemars experiences under his father's wing gave him the opportunity to be in the mist of great artist, such as Beenie Man, Bounty Killa, New Kids and Ghost. Kemar took a natural liking to the industry and made a mental note that this is where I belong. Kemar decided to continue his fathers legacy and take on Eastcoast as a stage name. Kemars major break was meeting up with Mrs Pepper in 2001, thus beginning to pen his own lyrics. In 2004 Kemar met with Harry Todler from the Scary Dem Crew who began the introduction to legendary Buju. From that point on Kemar was constantly in the presents on talented Reggae artist and began working on projects through Gargamel Music Inc, Buju's direction.
Kemars hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed and in 2006 after completing an amazing collaboration with Ghost called "its all Over", Buju decided to put together a Riddim video medley named "100Watts". 100Watts was a immediate smash hit, as well as, it was Kemars major accomplishment. Kemar went on to sign a deal with PUMA, becoming the face of their brand internationally.
Kemars drive and ambition has far from slowed down, as Kemar has recently crossed over and done some work with US artist.
With goals to reestablish and build up his own label with fellow friends/ artist Eastcoast connects with his audiences because he is an all-purpose, the good, the bad, and the cultural essentials breathe through his music. Kemar's burning desire to make his and his loved ones lives better makes him a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Kemar says "its a competition, if a Artist do a track and its a, then I must do a track that is A+",
Kemar prides himself on being a Plant that flourished from concrete. You don't know what Kemar has seen, where he is going but just look for him on top.
